THE SULIS STORY
A few years ago, our founder was advising a small business owner on their IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. The client asked a logical question: How does someone with a background in archaeology end up evaluating tech systems?
It sounds like an odd connection, but the reality is that the core challenges are exactly the same. Whether you are analyzing an ancient cultural site or auditing a modern enterprise data network, success requires the ability to piece together incomplete information, understand context that isn't immediately visible, and recognize patterns that others overlook. That conversation crystallized the foundation of Sulis Consulting: the most interesting and critical problems do not fit neatly into single disciplines.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
We named our firm after Sulis, the ancient Celtic goddess associated with wisdom, vision, and healing waters. We chose this name because it serves as a perfect metaphor for what we do: we help organizations find clarity in murky situations.
